Now this sounds like a great way to eat something I love without the guilt. With that said, this looks amazing. Now this post came at the perfect time.
I was debating whether to paint our bedroom dark or white. It does not have any direct sunlight, was a shade of off white and just feels dingy!! With all that said… Therefore the basement is so amazing, the tv built ins are one of my favorite things you guys have done!! Something I’ve been struggling with in my home lately, so this may be an odd question. Seriously. Accordingly the specific type is giving me trouble, we was making an attempt to switch over to all LED lightbulbs. The question is.
Some looked fluorescent, some have an orange glow, what gives you the most natural looking light possible? Considering the above said. What kind of light bulbs do you use? Gorgeous!
I love everything about this!
So it’s a great space to have as a family room.
I am determined to finally have our basement become useful space! Actually, with the light colors contrasting it’s great, that dark wall is a great idea. On p of that, my husband is wanting to do a projections screen, and all I can think about is all his speakers! Keep reading. My husband and I are wanting to do something similar in our basement, and we were curious what you did with your personal speakers. I look for them hidden and unseen! You just have the one sound bar below the TV, right? Generally, I hear ya!
We have four surround sound speakers in the ceiling!
They are round and whitish so you may have to squint to see them.
And therefore the amp and subwoofer are in the baskets on the bottom shelves of the builtins. Oh, it’s so beautiful and functional and pretty much the epitome of perfection, I’m not even a fan of shiplap. We used to live in a basement apartment a few years back, and your space reminded me of it -although yours is, definitely, much nicer as long as ours was prefurnished. Oh, and that shiplap wall……. Therefore, so many ideas in this post -from the large scale photos of the kiddos to the guitar wall art, I can’t waitI envision the entrance through the door behind the teepee, Know what guys, I don’t know why I’m thinking this. Basically, gorgeous! However, oh man.
May I ask where you enter this room? I think you nailed it with the idea that it one available in the shop seems much smaller than the one you have. Fact, it is amazing! Now please pay attention. I am wondering about The Hound dog art that you linked to etsy. So, thanks for sharing! Will serve for much inspiration in our basement!
Even Faye can carry a drawer over to the table herself and playthree cheers for that.
It’s the highlight and cherry on top.
It adds a little whimsy and a little something different and Greta invites her friends over to show themthee swingall the time. When we first laid out plans for this playroom/family room, over time, those plans were tamed when we decided to keep the fireplace sofa, table, built ins, EVERYTHING!
I love it all.
My question is why you didn’t put the tv where the dog picture is and have the sofa facing both the tv and fireplace? I just can’t figure it out! Normally, thanks for sharing. Essentially, we did add one, was 100 worth it. While painting the walls Simply Whiteby Benjamin More and replacing all the carpet with thislowpile one with a small pattern really modernized and brightened I’ve been able to take advantage of watching our favorite shows without waking the girls. Really big things like the slide, playhouse and trampoline are now all outside, is to keep things organized and cleaned up, By the way I still haven’t labeled the drawers. It’s an interesting fact that the stuffed animals stuffys-that aren’t among the 610 chosen to accompany a child in bed that night are stored in baskets. Then again, we have a few different kinds of ys in the house. Like playdoh, there’s the smaller toys, markers, shopkins, littlest pet shops, legos, play food, little people, blocks, doctor’s kitsall the normal ys kids ‘havehave’ a home in the industrial drawers shown above. Any ideas??
Love the finished basement!
I have an old style wall heater that hasn’t been cleaned in ages and I’m ready to tackle it.
Did you clean the air return prior to painting? I thought I was over my dark wall cravings. Oftentimes thanks so this room is gorgeous and I love that you’ve thought of the whole family. You know what?
